Here are a few of my latest experiments, I wasn't able to properly scan most of these as they were made as last minute birthday cards that needed to be sent ASAP, but oh well. Something about a grid has really been calling me recently, it's just such a fun way to plot out drawings and shapes (blame my gridded journals, idk). I also love the look of filet crochet and lace, and wanted to make my own paper versions of that. All hand-drawn/ hand-cut ♡

this is such a cool idea! as someone who also knits/crochets, the grids always remind me of pixel art and theyre always so neat to look at :)
ReplyDeletewait these are so cool ! i've been into making pixel looking drawings too lately but i never thought of cutting the little squares, it looks very nice, i love it. what tool did you use ?? can't be scissors right ?? did you individually cut them with a box cutter ?? that's so hard, worth it tho, it looks great
